What the heck is a Doula anyway?

Simply put, a doula (doo-lah) is a guide for big life changes!

It can be challenging and scary to navigate major life transitions, especially all by yourself!

When you embark on a new adventure, its so helpful to have a guide by your side. Someone to offer support (emotional and physical), provide education and direction, hold your hand as you learn and grow, and to listen to you while you process the experience.

We can be that guide for you, no matter where you are at on your journey, but especially if you are at the very beginning or the very end.

Doulas don’t replace medical providers like doctors, midwives, hospice and nurses. Rather, we provide emotional, spiritual and physical support in the space where medical professionals do not.
